The pressure profile is yours: a soft start for the pre-infusion, a firm push for the heart, a taper at the close. With a dose of about 14\u201316 g and a 1:2 ratio you extract on average 28\u201332 g in 25\u201330 seconds.<\/p>\n<h2>Use and maintenance<\/h2>\n<p>It requires practice: the first month is a real learning curve, not a flaw. Rinse the portafilter after every use, circulate water empty before the first cup and, every 3\u20136 months, run a descaling cycle.
