The difference, with the same machine, is felt especially on machines with a small boiler, where a cold portafilter steals heat from the extraction.<\/p>\n<h2>Use and maintenance<\/h2>\n<p>After every extraction: empty the basket, rinse under warm water, clean the basket guards with a cloth.
